Sue graduated as an Integrative Counsellor in 2009 and has since gained significant experience of offering counselling in a variety of settings.  She offers warm, compassionate and confidential counselling support in a safe and respectful environment.

Working with adults on a short and longer-term basis (to suit the individual), Sue has experience of offering therapeutic support around a wide range of issues, and believes in tailoring her therapeutic approach to the specific needs of each individual. 

She has a particular interest and expertise in supporting people around the following issues:

  • depression, anxiety and other mental health difficulties

  • confidence and self-esteem problems

  • relationship difficulties, work-related stress and adjusting to major life transitions/changes

  • bereavement/loss

  • self-harm and compulsive behaviours

  • working with our inner critical voice and other 'parts of self'

  • voice hearing, dissociative experiences

  • recovery from the impact of past trauma and abuse, including sexual violence.

Sue is a qualified EMDR therapist, a powerful and effective treatment to help people recover from psychological trauma, PTSD and other distressing life experiences. 

She also offers Clinical Supervision and is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
